Players of World League: Meet The Team

Harambe's Revenge

RB Nomad Nation

Coming off a career year, Nomad Nation looks to lean on their star Running back who had over 3,000 rushing yards last season. After winning the Pacific Pro League in Season 61, Nomad Nation has been promoted to the highly competitive World League where they will continue to compete and work hard. However, many would argue that this team is only as strong as the play of their running back. Along with Harambe’s Revenge rushing yard numbers, he complimented that stat with 83 rushing touchdowns during the regular season, while rushing for just about 200 yards per game.  He also had 302 rushes in total on the entire season, which rivals that of some of the greatest running backs to ever play in the game. With Harambe’s big build of 5’ 11” and 260 lbs, he was also able to break over 220 tackles last season.

Harambe is now entering the most competitive league offered in Goal Line Blitz, which means he will have to further his game in order just to compete. I am sure Harambe and his teammates do not want a one and done opportunity in the World League, so they will have to do all in their power to stay competitive in their League jump for season 62. Harambe’s agent, ACE, is no stranger to the Goal Line Blitz Community. He has a record of 281-111 as an Offensive Coordinator in the World League and Pro league combined. Ace is familiar with the builds of a solid running back and plans to continue to develop one of his star players!  Can Harambe’s Revenge have a repeat Season 61 performance and with back to back Offensive MVP awards? Or will he crash and burn during his first taste in the World League? Only time will tell…

Ethan.0

Ethan0 the cornerback who finished runner-up for defensive MVP last season has a lost to prove on season 62. Ethan was targeted 123 times last season which ties him for 4th in the league for corners targeted. Last season Ethan grabbed 7 interceptions with 74 tackles. Can Ethan improve on his already impressive season 61 numbers?

Hurdlin' Kop

RB Oakland Suppressors

For a Runningback coming off a season with over 3,000 rushing yards, Hurdlin KOP has a lot to live up too. He had 76 touchdowns in his first season with the Oakland Suppressors, with 33 broken tackles Personally, I think KOP is a bust like most Running backs entering the World League. He has the tools to become great and prove me wrong, but I would put my money on that not happening.

PHILLY FRANKS

QB Honolulu Hurricane Wife Carriers

Philly Franks, an up and comer Quarterback in the World League, is held up to some high expectations. Playing for a Honolulu Hurricane Wife Carriers team, who have been competitive since the dawn of the World League, Franks is expected to compete with some of the greatest to ever play In Goal Line Blitz.

Franks is no stranger to success. Franks has accumulated his share of awards in his long 9 season tenure in Goal Line Blitz. In season 61 alone Franks threw for over 3,400 yard with 26 touchdowns. He was second in the league in passing percentage during season 61 while earing third in most passing yards. Overall, Franks had a very mediocre minor league career growing up within GLB, but still has a chance to implement himself as the key centerpiece of an all-exclusive HHWC’s Team, whose history within the league surpasses that of many.

Critics across the league look for Philly Franks to have a big season individually for the highly competitive HHWC Team. Expect at the end of this season for Philly to be in MVP talks for the entire league. The HHWC Team has won over 400 games in the World League, and have won a total of 7 Championships. Are there any team able to rival the success of this franchise?
